"Since the dawn of Internet shopping, bargain hunters have
reveled in the thrill of the hunt for deals at eBay, the
online equivalent of an auction house. But the thrill is
going, going, almost gone. And eBay's losses are
Amazon.com's gains in this battle to sell the most stuff on
the Internet -- a battle that is about to take a turn for
the worse for eBay..."

Oh, did Amazon figure out how to put together a website that doesn't
crash my browser?
Ebay figured out how to do that years ago and has continued doing so. Amazon
just keeps
putting more crap on their website and making it so much worse.

If you are not already using a HOSTS file, may I suggest this as a

solution to ads, spyware and dangerous downloads. It may not be a total
solution but for Internet security a HOSTS file is a good starting
point.

Thanks for the critique, Mr. eBaySockPuppet.
I'm sure it will steer a lot of new Internet users to your dying site.

What OS and browser are you using that can't handle Amazon? I have been

using them for a long time, with a couple versions of OE and Firefox.
