Who eats Turkey on days other than during Thanksgiving?
I was thinking about this because I like Turkey but never
eat any unless It's Thanksgiving.
I find it odd that I would only eat something I like once a year. |

You've never had a turkey sub? It's one of Subways' biggest sellers.
Sliced Turkey from the deli, turkey franks . . no? never?
What's your total cholesterol look like?

Quote: There's a great kosher deli near us. They have a great turkey club wrap
with Russian dressing. Absolutely delicious.
They also have a fantastic dish called the Blockbuster which was invented
at a deli near the Bronx Courthouse. It's salami, pastrami and/or corned
beef, over sour kraut which is over a potato knish. Mmmmmmm!
If wishes were knishes, i'd weigh 300# !!!
Our thanksgiving was 6 weeks back, had wild turkey the little lady
shot
herself (yet another good reason not to fool around).
This was an older Tom and needed to be cooked half a day in the wood
cookstove. . . over Elder and Poplar for the first hour and a banked
down
fire of Red Oak and finished for the last half hour with Ironwood (to
crisp
the skin left. game birds wings, neck, etc., usually 'peeled' as pin
feathers
too tought to pluck. . . . Easy Bloh, said pluck the turkey, not your
recipe).
I no good at cooking game, takes special talents based on knowing the
age and gender of meal. A native friend of little ladies is an
expert at
game prep & cuisine. Has taught us amazing stuff, marinade of
moose or venison in ginger ale and blackberry preserves to mention
one.
Jewish guys are not generally hunters but they are smart nuff to have
women that can make feasts out of beasts. |

That reminds me of something else I like but don't eat very often,
corned beef and hash. |
