company has been publicly trading for just barely a year
the current gap-up price spike above $39.50 tests it's infant 1 year
moving
average.
money flow into this stock has declined since Oct07
and other indicators suggest a similarity to the gap plagued rally of
Dec07
while the year over year comparisons are staggering
the SEQUENTIAL growth has taken a hit
the short sellers have grown a million shares since last month
and their debt is about 85% of their revenue
entry point on LDK is when the on balance volume hit's the zero line
right now it's probably a good short
You must be looking at the wrong stock or it sounds like you're one of
the new shorts from last month who jumped in the fire.
Money Flow has been moving IN to LDK since Aug 4th and no where near a
sell. On Balance Volume is also moving up confirming the price rise.
You might want to take a look at this short primer on OBV for a
better understanding of how to use it. If you're waiting for OBV to
get back to the zero point before taking a position, you may be
waiting forever. Some growth stocks never move back to that zero
point. GOOG, BIDU never looked back and you have to go back to 1999
to find AAPL at the zero point. 2003 for RIMM. LDK did move back to
the zero point 2 times since it's IPO but I seriously doubt it will
ever do it again.
Of course you can sit on your hands and watch as the rest of us laugh
all the way to the bank.
ah.... I dunno
