i read it a few days ago but waited to post until NASA actually
confirmed it. this is interesting. the next few mars probes will
probably now look for different minerals that could be used on earth .
it is not too far fetched to see that machines, with some human help,
could one day be mining metals on mars for use back on earth.
the other big thing NASA scientists wil work on is ; what happened to
the big amounts of water that obviouly had carved the river beds and
stream beads on mars. they are all dried up now. we have to figure that
out before any kind of materiel is sent back to earth.

Now, lets say the entire planet is flooded with oil. . . how do you
get it
back ? It would be great if material shortages caused
international
cooperation for space exploitation.

BTW: It was Nancy Pelosi that sponsored the bill encouraging space
travel. It was her efforts as a futurist. The republicans keep
pushing
for tax cuts while Pelosi pushes for Bush to be the first man on Mars.

Had Bush been president on Dec 7, 1941 he would have Congress declare war on
Peru because its president was of Japanese ancestry.

I hope Pelosi, beautiful and bring lady that she is, unlike that
filthy slut
Barbara Bush, ends up as president one day soon.

Barbara bush sr is a guy in drag, a sex change surrogate.

if franklin roosevelt had been president in 2001 during the WTC attacks
he would have invaded not only iraq and afghanistan but syria and iran
as well.

Not really. Franklin Roosevelt would first prepare the American people for hard
times and sacrifice, then look for a way to finance military operations, locate
a general who was capable of leading the US to victory then spend a few years
planning what to do when the war is over.

Seven years later, Bush has yet to do any of the above.

Comix supports the troops with little yellow magnets.

Real patriots like us support the troops by (among other things)
pressuring the corrupt Bush administration to provide habitable
barracks for them when they get home from war!

(1) I think Bush just found another yes man. This one has four stars.
Otherwise another nada.

(2) Please give me a reference that states Clinton destroyed the military.

According to many retired generals, i.e., the generals who are free to talk, it
was Rumsfeld who destroyed the military. There is no doubt about Rumsfeld
destroying the military medical corps. The first thing the Democrats did when
they regained Congress was to fire the generals in charge of the Army Medical
Corps and Walter Reed Hospital. And nobody was sorry to see those creeps leave.

There is no excuse for cowards like comics or aunt vito to avoid
military
service doing what they beleive in. They call draft dodgers and
deserters
as cowards, i have a solution, send these two tough guys over to
Fallujia for a 2 year stint.

Mars was much as the earth was then it lost its atmosphere. The earth

took much longer to cool and as it is larger it cooled slower and
without getting into a long winded explanation.. Check out the
Discovery Channel Comics. <s>

how the hell did mars lose their atmosphere ? asteroid hit? chemical
reaction from fouride-flourine ? giant solar flare ? are there any
theories on this? because from what i read it sure does seem like they
used to have some kind of atmosphere

Mars core cooled and is no longer molten as is Earth's.
Once it lost it's magnetic field the solar wind sripped the
atomosphere.

Short answer: old age. . .

would ALL their cores cool, but not ours ?

How long does it take to cool?

I'm asking for comix, 3 months ago he did a weekend in jail and black
Bubba gave him a molten core and sore throat.
