Hello,
I need some advice from those in the forum.
I have several mutual funds, but with different fund companies/
brokers.
I also have some cash in a few banks that are not paying good
interest.
I would like to consolidate my mutual funds and cash accounts and
choose 2 institutions. I would like to do IN KIND transfers for the
funds and stocks.
Currently, I have one mutual fund with each of the below:
Vanguard
Fidelity
T. Rowe
Janus
Brown
And a 401K retirement account with:
Schwab
And some cash/stocks with ABWatley.
Which of the above companies is the best in terms of accepting IN KIND
transfers from other institutions and not charging maintenance fees?
THANKS!!! |

Any of the fund companies will assist you in transfering funds from
other financial instutions at no cost. Vanguard,Fidelity and T Rowe
Price all are excellent companies with good customer service.Don't
know about Janus or Brown.
I consolidated all my funds with T Rowe Price last year. It was a
personal decision having been with them for fifteen years. My wife has
funds in Fidelity. The customers service has always been good with
both companies. Have a savings account with Emigrantdirect paying
5.05% and can transfer funds to and from my checking account at my
local bank. |
